New Patient Resources

As a practice Urban Dental has always complied with strict infection control with standard produces in place to protect patients and staff. We have always worn appropriate single use PPE when seeing patients which includes mask, gloves and glasses. We have kept up with good hand hygiene with hand sanitizer available at multiple points for patients and staff. We have been keeping high contact areas clean and whipping down the surgery after every patient, sterilizing and tracking instruments used on patients and disposing of single use items the correct way. We are still doing all these things, so what are we doing differently to further minimise risk for our patients and staff during COVID19?

  • You will be asked;

  • If you have travelled overseas in the past two weeks? been in contact with anyone who has?

  • If you are feeling well, experiencing any symptoms of fever, dry cough, shortness of breath or sore throat?

  • We ask that you sanitize your hands when you come into the practice.

  • Your temperature will be checked

  • Magazines, toys and upholstered furniture has been removed from our reception area. You are welcome to bring your own book or toys for children to play with while waiting.

  • Before your dental treatment you will be asked to rinse your mouth with Rivacol Chlorhexidine mouthwash 0.2%.

  • We are leaving time before and after appointments to minimise crossover of patients and allow time for all surfaces to be wiped down after every patient.

  • Yes we take cash but contactless payment methods are appreciated and available.

Please be reassured that we are doing everything to ensure that our service remains at its best.
