MYTH
01: CAN TOOTH FILLINGS PICK UP RADIO SIGNALS?
The most famous
example of this phenomenon was reported by Lucille
Ball in 1942.
Lucy
had several fillings installed in her teeth
and during her drive home from MGM Studios,
her fillings vibrated with short beeps (DE-DE-DE-DE-DE-DE0
that shounded like Morse Code.
She
reported this to the FBI who then searched the
area and found a radio transmitter hidden in
a tool shed that was used by a gardener who
turned out to be a Japanese spy.
